Tom Scott as Will Rogers A Ropin' Fool
A Ropin' Fool, The one man bio drama Written by Wyatt Earp, and portrayed by Tom Scott.
For Tom the theatre has been a lifelong passion, with acting roles in various shows since early childhood. He has been president of Theatre groups in Iowa, Missouri and various towns in Southern California before founding the Camino Real Playhouse in San Juan Capistrano with his wife BJ.
He wrote, produced and performed the bio drama
"Wolf! Jack London Remembers", and has written and produced two plays about the history of San Juan Capistrano. He also wrote "
Murder by the Mission", a murder mystery dinner theatre, which is currently performed in various Southern California locations.
Will Roger's earthy anecdotes and folksy style allowed him to poke fun at gangsters, politicians, government programs, prohibition, and a host of other controversial topics in a way that was readily appreciated by a national audience, with no one offended. His aphorisms, couched in humorous terms, were widely quoted by many. Like Will Rogers, who Tom depicts, he too feels the shortest distance between two people is a good laugh...
